Curtain Questions, Answered
Everything you want to know about buying, fitting, and caring for curtains in Dubai.
Pricing
Made-to-measure curtains in Dubai start from around AED 55 per window for sheers and go up to AED 420+ per window for premium velvet with motorization. The final cost depends on fabric, heading type, lining, ceiling height, and window width. We provide a written itemised quote after measuring — no guessing.
Yes, completely free. No call-out fee, no minimum order, and no obligation to book. We come to your home, measure every window, show you fabric samples in your own light, and give you a written quote. If you decide not to proceed, there is no charge.
Process & Timing
Most orders are measured, made, and fitted within 7–10 working days. Larger projects (10+ windows) or specialist fabrics like motorized or premium velvet may take up to 14 days. We confirm the exact timeline at your home visit.
Blackout curtains block 100% of light when properly hung — no light bleed at the sides or bottom. Room-darkening curtains reduce light significantly but not completely. In Dubai, where sunrise can be as early as 5:30am in summer, we always recommend true blackout for bedrooms.
Yes. We cover Abu Dhabi and Sharjah for projects of 6+ windows. For individual windows outside Dubai, contact us and we can advise — we're flexible for the right project.

Yes — that's the whole point of the home visit. We bring 200+ fabric samples to your home so you can see exactly how each fabric looks in your own light, against your walls and floors. You never need to guess what a curtain will look like in your space.
We offer eyelet, wave (S-fold), pinch pleat, pencil pleat, and tab top. Wave and eyelet are the most popular in Dubai right now. Wave is the heading style you see in most Dubai show homes and pairs perfectly with motorized tracks. We explain the differences at the visit.
Care depends on the fabric — we provide written care instructions specific to your curtains at fitting. Most linen and sheer curtains can be machine washed on a gentle cycle. Velvet and blackout-lined curtains should be professionally dry cleaned. Motorized tracks need only occasional dusting.
In some cases, yes. We can make and fit curtains from customer-supplied fabric. There are minimum width and weight requirements for the fabric to drape correctly. Contact us with details and we'll advise whether it's suitable.
Installation & Guarantee
Yes. We regularly fit curtains in rented apartments across Dubai. We discuss the best fixing approach at the visit — in most cases, we use standard bracket positions that leave minimal marks. We do not drill without discussing it with you first.
Yes. Most existing track or pole setups can be retrofitted with a battery or rechargeable motor. Wired (hardwired) motors are an option for new builds or when wiring is accessible. We assess the best option during the home visit at no extra charge.
All installation faults — including bracket failure, track or pole issues, heading fabric separation, and lining problems. If anything doesn't hang right or fails within two years of fitting, we return and fix it at no charge. Normal fading from sunlight after two years is not covered.
